Real Wedding: Sam & Chris
Today's wedding is a special one! Sam and I have been friends for over a decade, and it was such an honor to stand by her side as she married the love of her life. There was so much thought and love put into every detail, which was all perfectly captured by Jen Dederich Photography.
One of my favorite things about Sam is her sentiment. There were so many meaningful moments incorporated into her day, from her father officiating the ceremony to her wedding dress having the same blue undertone as her maternal grandmother's. Sam and Chris' mothers performed a handfasting ritual, while my sister (McKenzie - check out her musician page!) contributed beautiful live music during the ceremony and reception.
All the bouquets and boutonnieres were made of wood and paper to forever preserve them, and had a personalized lettered name tag on each for the groomsmen and fathers. Their seating chart read "Where in the world am I sitting?", and each table was a significant place that Sam and Chris have visited and had a vintage postcard to indicate the table name in lieu of a table number. They are world travelers so this was such a great touch and nod to their journeys together!
Sam spent a year collecting antique place settings, and even added an antique jeweled beetle brooch to my bouquet! So sweet and thoughtful, just like Sam and her husband.
My favorite part of their day was the ceremony. It was so emotional and their vows to one another were perfect. They are such a great couple and it is a joy to know them! We are so grateful to have them in our lives. Wishing the newlywed Kraemers a lifetime a of love and happiness!
Enjoy a glimpse of their wedding day!
