Goodbye Summer and Wedding Season 2016!

Hi Friends!

I'm in between my last two weddings for the 2016 season and my heart is so full and happy for the wonderful couples I have had the pleasure working with this year! This summer has been incredible and full of change - thank you all for hanging on with me!

Between these beautiful weddings, my little family and I moved to a new home, I finished my first semester and a half in grad school, and we've been planning our own wedding in the process. This week, we booked our last vendor (videography!) and we are getting ready for our fall engagement session with Kelsey and Blaine of Wright Photographs! We are shooting around some of our favorite locations around Champaign-Urbana and could not be more excited!

We are also getting ready to order our save the dates and invitations! As a calligrapher, my biggest dilemma has been deciding what style I'd like to use when I address our envelopes and if I'd like them to match our place cards :)

The struggle is real, folks.

As we say goodbye to summer and the 2016 wedding season, I also wanted to check in and say hi to all of you and give you an update on things to come! Letters from Lindsey will reopen in late October with holiday listings, and will begin booking 2017 weddings in November. As always, please be sure to say hello if you need to place a custom order, need a quote on a project, or just want to chat and catch up!

I am also looking forward to sharing more real wedding and styled photos, and updating you on our wedding planning journey! Please share your planning progress in the comments below!

Happy Fall!
