The End of Summer 2015 Wedding Season...

Hi Friends!

August is really flying! Apple cinnamon and pumpkin spice season is upon us, and I am so ready. Autumn is my jam. I am ready for chilly mornings, making new soups and baked goods, changing leaves, and sweaters. Lots of sweaters.

The end of summer also means the end of wedding season! Last week, I attended my first wedding expo as a vendor! It was so exciting, friends - I was extra crazy and control-freaky, but every minute was totally worth it. With a ton of pre-made signs, (hand painted!) service menus, cards, and flowers in tow, Nick and I had the best time chatting with brides to be and talking about lettering. I loved it!

There are definitely a few more projects that I have in the works, but I was so happy to roll out the first of my wooden wedding sign designs! They were well-received, and I was so glad to send some of my work to new homes. My favorite piece that I made this week was for a bride to give to her new groom - it was so sweet! I can never put enough emphasis on how happy I am to make custom pieces for clients. It is my favorite thing to do!

I really feel like Letters from Lindsey has given me an opportunity to achieve 'flow' and I couldn't ask for a better job! Most recently, I have been working on collaborations with other local vendors in the Champaign-Urbana area and I am so excited for what the near and far future holds! Today, with the help of a best friend, I created a logo for my new brand. I hope you all like it as much as I do!

Until next time! xoxo

Lindsey
