Hello and Welcome to Letters from Lindsey!

Hello lovely friends!

What a warm reception! Thank you so much for all of your kind words and support in my endeavor with my little business. They warmed my heart and made me smile. I appreciate every single one of you!

Letters from Lindsey. I can't believe this is a real thing!

How did Letters from Lindsey start?

If you know me at all, you know that I like handwriting. I especially like my mom's handwriting, and I compliment and study every person's writing that I know. I also like letters. Old-fashioned, snail-mail letters. My boyfriend, Nick, and I have been writing letters to each other for almost 6 years, and my sister and I have been regularly corresponding through USPS for over 3 years. Letter writing has been the perfect way to blend my love of both and to bring a smile to each of my recipients when they receive something nice in their mailbox. It means so much to me when I can help you do that too!

I was moved to making my lettering public after a few friendly suggestions and receiving frequent requests from people I knew to create and complete some lettering-friendly projects for them. I opened my Etsy shop and started an Instagram in May 2015, and started investing in more materials and increasing my available offerings from envelope addressing and place cards to personalized greeting cards and custom orders. I am so glad to have gotten the opportunity to work on every single one of my orders (especially ones I got to personalize!), and for the warm words my customers have left for me about the products they received.

What's next?

I am still small and I am still growing. I have a long list of things to make and a long list of different products and pens to try. I'm excited to show you what I'm working on behind the scenes with my new website (I'm a dot com? What!), and so excited for other projects to come. I am always willing to try new things and to make ideas come alive. Do you have one that you'd like help making a reality? Stop by and Say Hello so we can set up a time to chat over coffee (in person or through technologically assisted means)!

Again, thank you for your kind words and for stopping by to see what I've been up to! Stay posted for more around the bend!
